Digital Signage Plays an Important Role Moving Forward

The past few months have been unlike any in recent memory.

Most people, except our heroic essential workers, have been living a sequestered lifestyle. To do our part in battling COVID-19 we have been living and working from home and avoiding any non-essential travel. Now attention has turned to how we will reopen our economy, and what that will look like.

Our governments are advising on the when – but we will reopen and when it is time to welcome back the public, patrons, clients and patients, we will have to be prepared.

There will be new policies, new procedures, and new ways to interact with our colleagues, our employees, and the public. It will be our responsibility to be vigilant and ensure that we provide and maintain a safe and healthy environment for all.

Capital Networks has continued working with our corporate, education and healthcare customers and together we are exploring solutions that include:

  • Contactless kiosks using voice and gesture control
  • Temporary installations using mobile, battery powered signage
  • Access control solutions
  • Two-way video communication on a digital sign
  • Health and safety communications

One thing that has been reinforced during our sequestered period is the importance of sharing clear, consistent, current, and accurate information. Properly deployed, a digital signage screen, or network, can play an important role in your efforts to communicate timely messages to an audience.

“I can honestly say it has been a long time since I have been so impressed with a company. I can assure you, you now have my business for all future purchases and I will be more than happy to refer other businesses to you. Company service like that exhibited by your staff is exceptionally rare, and I commend you for the obvious company-wide attitude that your customers are a priority.”

- Shelia Hogue, Marketing Manager, Glasgow EPB
