Since 2010, Markham at the Movies, a non-profit group, has been bringing award-winning Toronto International Film Festival movies to Markham, and tonight’s viewing puts a wrap on a very successful 12th season.
Run by volunteer film enthusiasts, Markham at the Movies presents films on the main stage of the Flato Markham Theatre with audiences having grown to full-house capacities and attendees calling it one of the “best kept secrets” for a local night out full of engaging and thought-provoking entertainment.
