The Municipality of Chatham-Kent has enhanced its communication capabilities with a new Audience™ digital signage network from Capital Networks, designed to improve information sharing across municipal recreation facilities.
Launched in the fall of 2025, the project features BrightSign HD225 media players across 10 municipal facilities, each powered by Audience™ Version 5 CMS and the Audience.facilityscheduler module. The newest release of Capital Networks’ CMS combines a clean, modern interface with advanced scheduling, seamless integrations, and greater flexibility, enabling the municipality to deliver real-time facility and ice pad schedules.
With keyword-based targeting, messages can be directed to individual screens or broadcast across the entire network, giving teams the confidence and control to create and deliver engaging, timely content to the right audience whenever it’s needed.
Two channel layouts were developed to best fit the communication needs of each facility. Channel A presents a single facility schedule zone, while Channel B incorporates two side-by-side schedule zones. Both layouts share a cohesive design that includes:
• Large schedule zones for easy visibility
• A 9×16 advertising zone, ideal for the municipality’s existing marketing materials
• A bottom banner zone for text-based announcements with customizable templates
• A top banner zone showing automated weather forecasts, with an urgent message playlist to override for critical updates

As part of the deployment, Capital Networks provided:
• Strategic consultation
• Initial design and template creation
• Remote technical launch support and player configuration
• Remote training for both technical and operational teams
