Hanover Parks & Recreation Updates RWB Community Center with Audience™ Digital Signage

The RWB Community Center, home to Hanover Parks & Recreation, has updated its facility communications with the deployment of the Audience™ digital signage platform from Capital Networks. Known for offering a variety of spaces available to the public, local businesses, community groups, and instructors the Community Center sought a solution to streamline real-time facility scheduling alongside promotional content for its programs and events.

With display screens in place and BrightSign HD225 media players to be supplied through Capital Networks, the County needed a robust, flexible, and efficient content management system compatible with its preferred hardware. Audience™ Version 5—the latest release of Capital Networks’ CMS—proved to be the ideal solution, offering a cost-effective platform that aligned with IT preferences while simplifying deployment and content management within a secure hosted environment.

A major factor in the decision to select Audience™ was its ability to automate data directly from the Centre’s Xplor recreation management system. This integration eliminates the need for manual schedule updates, dramatically improving accuracy while freeing staff to focus more on guest services and day-to-day operations.

To meet the needs of the RWB Community Center, two custom channel layouts were designed. The first combines a prominent facility schedule zone with a smaller area for promotions, while the second showcases a wide 16×9 zone for upcoming events and promotions, including integrated weather data from Screenfeed.
