Capital Networks is pleased to announce that the University of Guelph has deployed the Audience™ digital signage platform to enhance communication and streamline information sharing within the Gryphon Centre Arena.
Seeking a modern, efficient way to deliver real-time facility schedules, venue information, and promotional messaging, the University selected Audience™ Version 5, the latest release of Capital Networks’ content management system. Designed for performance and ease of use, Audience v5 introduces a sleek new interface, advanced scheduling tools, seamless integrations, and greater flexibility—empowering users to deliver dynamic, impactful messaging with ease.
The initial installation includes BrightSign HD225 media players, powering displays for the arena’s Red Rink and Gold Rink. Each screen presents rink-specific schedules using the Audience.facilityscheduler module, which simplifies ice pad management and dressing room assignments through an easy-to-use, browser-based interface.
Each display features a multi-zone design, including areas for rink schedules, announcements, automated weather updates, and Gryphon marketing and promotions. A dedicated promotional zone also allows staff to repurpose existing branded content, extending the reach of campus messaging.
