Open Text Chooses Audience™ Software to Run Worldwide Corporate Communications Network.

Open Text is an enterprise software company and leader in enterprise content management supporting 50 million users in 114 countries. With offices located world wide, Open Text needed the ability to distribute 24 hour information to employees in corporate offices across 6 continents. Looking to provide a combination of company wide news as well as hyper local, location specific information, Open Text chose the Audience™ Software platform to create, manage and distribute content for their in-house digital signage solution.

With initial installations already complete in the U.K. and Canada, screens have been distributed throughout the public areas of the offices including lobbies, common areas and individual conference rooms. Along with company branding and local and international corporate updates, the multi-zone screens display a combination of automated data feeds provided by Capital Networks Limited, including world news, local news, and hyper local weather reports. A video zone displays a live broadcast feed controlled by satellite receiver, as well as an assortment of text and graphic content.

Edcom Multimedia Products Inc, based in Kitchener, provided the Audience™ software platform responsible for the creation of the Open Text corporate show as well as the management and scheduling of content.
