Position: Senior Traffic Coordinator
Full Time: Monday to Friday

Capital Networks Limited, the worldwide distributor of the Audience™ software platform used in Broadcast, Cable TV and professional Digital Signage networks, has an immediate opening for a Senior Traffic Coordinator.

Reporting to the Director of Production Services, the Senior Traffic Coordinator will be responsible for encoding, scheduling and distribution of video content. This position is at our Markham, Ontario office. In general, this position will process and distribute video content, and provide production traffic support to the Production and Client Services Department.

Position Summary

• Responsible for encoding services, scheduling and distribution for the TV Listings channels, US Avails Service and addressable advertising services.
• Provide encoding and scheduling support for cable and broadcasting clients.
• Work closely with Account Managers, production houses, and advertisers.
• Prepares daily program logs and affidavits by obtaining information such as source, location, length, frequency.
• Maintain accurate channel line-ups and channel logos.
• Verifies correctness of schedules and issues program schedule changes and/or additions as needed.
• Resolve spot and scheduling discrepancies.
• Maintains program logging or other operational procedures as new regulations or technology requires.

Skills and Qualifications

• Knowledge of broadcast traffic operations.
• Knowledge of television technical operations.
• Ability to effectively communicate.
• Minimum 3 years broadcast traffic operations experience.
• Experience with various video and audio formats.
• Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience with Traffic and Billing systems.
• Knowledge of FTP protocol and other methods of transferring files.
