Company: Capital Networks Limited Capital Networks Limited, the worldwide distributor of the Audience™ software platform used in Broadcast, Cable TV and professional Digital Signage networks, has an immediate opening for a Senior Motion Graphics/Product Specialist. This position will report to the Director of Production and Client Services. Position Summary The Senior Motion Graphics/Product Specialist will create animated video and video artwork for a variety of mediums. In turn they will build completed digital signage and broadcast/cable designs for demonstration purposes and for client-purchased projects using the Audience™ family of products along with standard design and editing platforms. This position will actively support, research, and troubleshoot problem areas within Post-Production, and provide guidance, direction, and technical support to fellow technical and production staff. Imagination, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask and meet strict deadlines are a must. In addition to the above duties, this position will provide Audience™ software training to our resellers and clients as well as software demonstrations at tradeshows and for client presentations. The Motion Graphics/Product Specialist will provide ongoing support for our encoding and traffic services responsibilities. We are seeking a candidate who will utilize our software to its utmost potential to best demonstrate the inherent features. Essential Skills and Qualifications • Bachelors Degree or similar in Film or Television Production or an equivalent discipline and five years working knowledge of non-linear video along with After Effects, Photo Shop, Premiere and other Adobe Production Bundle platforms. • Demonstrated ability with photo real compositing to create eye catching video spots ranging from tags and text to full spots • Expert Knowledge in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe After Effects • Strong skills in Adobe Premiere and applications like Combustion • Strong organization skills and demonstrated ability to meet deadlines both independently and collaboratively • Excellent communications skills (written/verbal) to establish and sustain collaborative relationships with key internal personnel and selected clients. • Working knowledge of Video/Audio/Graphic Editing concepts and techniques • Extensive knowledge of Video/Audio/Graphic Production concepts and techniques • Ability to author simple DVDs and to troubleshoot and/or identify audio and video problems for broadcast, web and vga display. • Extensive knowledge of MPEG-4, MPEG-2, AVI and Windows Media etc and encoding technologies (we use Digital Rapids) • In-depth understanding of both NTSC analog and digital video for SD, HD, VGA and web applications • (PC) Design skills, Flash, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere, Adobe after Effects, and animation • Knowledge of FTP protocol and other methods of transferring files • We are a PC based environment, so knowledge of programs on a PC is essential. Assets • Production traffic experience specializing in automated playback systems for the broadcasting /cable TV and digital signage industries. • Experience using Audience™ software to create, manage and playback multi-zone channels and digital signage • Knowledge of web architecture, web design, multimedia communications and interface design (MS Expression Blend) are assets as is proficiency Flash • 3D Modeling/Animation software knowledge • Comfort level with older analog facilities for encoding from Beta SP. • Digital media experience within a digital media company, preferably one that specializes in digital signage, interactivity or place-based digital out of home networks Please provide an accessible online Reel of edited motion graphics work and /or professional Flash movie clips.
